| Indications: | Relief of bronchospasm in bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema & other reversible obstructive pulmonary diseases. |
| Dosage: | Adult 10 mL. Childn >12 yr 5-10 mL, 7-12 yr 5 mL, 2-6 yr 2.5-5 mL. To be taken 6-8 hrly. |
| Administration: | Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals. |
| Contraindications: | β-blockers. Pregnancy. |
| Special Precautions: | Hyperthyroidism, DM, CV disease. |
| Side Effects / Adverse Reactions: | Fine skeletal muscle tremor, tachycardia, headache, dizziness & arrhythmias (rare). |
| Drug Interactions: | Effects antagonized by propranolol & other β-blockers & enhanced by xanthines. |
